Anatomy
The student of the Fine Arts League can expect to
study anatomy in each of the three years of the program.
Basic Anatomy and Figure Drawing
Beginning Anatomy introduces the student to the bones,
muscles and movement of the human figure. At each class their is one hour of
instruction on skeletal and muscular structures. The student then spends two
hours of drawing from live models and employing the knowledge gained from daily
lectures. In this course, each student is required to create an anatomical
notebook.
Advanced Anatomy
This is a unique course that combines all prior
experience of anatomy class work with drawings. It provides the student with
tactile memory experience in in-depth physical understanding of anatomical
relationships of bone, ligament muscle and skin.
